Chef and Recipe Developer
Ben Wheatley is a Chef and Recipe Developer. Over the course of his professional career he has worked for James Beard award winning Chefs and Relais and Chateaux properties, gaining expertise in both pastry and savory. His life’s career started in his grandmother’s kitchen where biscuits, cornbread, caramel cake, and banana pudding were regular offerings. Most recently Ben was the Chef de Cuisine alongside his wife and culinary partner, Whitney Otawka, at Greyfield Inn and the recipe developer for The Saltwater Table, published in 2019. His cooking is a reflection of his Southern roots and his love for travel, exploring cooking techniques around the world.
