Many of the area’s best bartenders and mixologists will be competing for the title of “Georgia’s Best Whiskey Cocktail!”

The competition will professionally judged by three judges, including Atlanta’s own Tiffanie Barriere and a People’s Choice Award.

Georgia’s most celebrated chefs will presenting cooking demonstrations throughout the day, with demo recipe tasting bites for the first 50 people in attendance.

Chef/Authors will be immediately signing their cookbooks at the adjacent, Celebrity Author’s Signing Table at the Fox Tale Book Shoppe booth.


1st Demo: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
James Beard Foundation award-winning chef Virginia Willis will be demonstrating: Multi-Bean & “Shiitake Bacon” Glow Bowl with Herb Yogurt Dressing Topped Cast Iron Toasted Georgia Peanut Dukkah. Virginia will be signing copies of Secrets of the Southern Table after the cooking demo.

2nd Demo: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Chef Jernard, most famous for host of CLEO TV’s New Soul Kitchen and Food Network television shows and appearance, will be unveiling and recipe from his new cook book coming out this fall, Southern Inspired: Creole Bourbon Shrimp  Jernard will be giving away one of his famous signature spices to everybody that places an order for the new book with Fox Tale Book Shoppe today!

Chef Jernard Wells will be giving each guest a bottle of his All Purpose Seasoning or a Southern Barbecue Rub Spice ($6.95 value) with a paid receipt for a pre-order of his new cookbook, Southern Inspired coming out November 1, 2022.
