There are a variety of volunteer roles available to be involved in the festival, from  festival operations, to admissions, beverage/culinary serving opportunities and general ambassadors for wayfinding and guest relations.

You must be 21 years of age or older to volunteer for the festival. Volunteers receive a souvenir Georgia Food + Wine Festival apron and an opportunity to enjoy the event in which they are volunteering after their shift ends.

Volunteer attire includes black pants/shorts/skirts with collared white shirts.  All volunteers are not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages while volunteering, will be required to wear closed-toe shoes and must sign a waiver of liability.

Volunteer aprons and credentials will need to be removed before participating in event tastings. 

There will be a mandatory attendance Volunteer Orientation Session scheduled on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 6 – 7 pm at Jim R. Miller Park event facility. Each volunteer will receive their festival credentials and apron at the Volunteer Orientation session.
